I would like to buy this as an add on item for free shipping, is this good for travel that can accept 220v ?

I know many would say NO for 220v, but I've done this before. 220v for the chargers and laptop use, and zero heat is observed after soo many hours. The flat plug makes this cord great.

it really depends on how much amp you are pulling. in other places, such as Hong Kong, 220V runs on everything.

Wasn't showing available to pick up, said I had to buy it in store, but when I clicked 'check other stores' and added to cart from that list and immediately checked out with PayPal I was able to complete the transaction, just a heads up for people having the same issue.

I assume you are planning to use this with some sort of simple passive outlet adapter as I'm not aware of anywhere else that uses the same outlet and runs 240v standard. It will probably be fine but there's no way to know.

Current or as SSI put it how many amps you are pulling is the real factor in heat generation and in that regard 240v is to your advantage. Higher voltage means lower current for the same amount of power so you should be less likely to see heat issues with higher voltage.
Where the voltage really comes in is the insulation around the wires. Higher voltage needs better insulation. There's not really any way to tell if this cord has good enough insulation for 240v or not. It's entirely possible it does as making cords for both standards using the same wires may well be a cost savings.

Shows 116 in stock at my local stores, tried to add 3 to cart says "This item is currently not available please remove it from your cart". Weird.
