Is there something wrong with this stuff? I just want to make soapy water in a bucket so I can wash and wax the car in the driveway. My car is new, so the paint is great, even though the car is nothing fancy. The pros online make car washing sound so complicated.

It's prob fine. Just have a grit guard in your bucket so you're not dragging around a lot of dirt on your existing paint

Just because your car is new does not mean that your paint is great. Even cars right off the assembly line have paint imperfections. Some car companies use the bare minimum of paint and clear coat.
With that said, I've never used this particular soap, but not all soaps are created equally. Higher-quality soaps provide better lubricity to prevent swirls/scratches. They are also more concentrated, which allows you to use less soap. These bargain soaps typically recommend using more product per bucket to compensate for their watered-down formula.

I'll continue using my 3 in 1 body wash, you know make it 4 in 1.
