The thing is not ment to be Fort Knox , I bet you it would deter most beach or pool area thieves, who first of all who wouldn't be as knowledgeable as the person making that video and secondly would be looking for a quick lift

I just bring a safe with me everywhere I go.

You can fit bigger and more important things in there.. Like Cheetos.

Oof, yeah this one is bad though, no tools required at all to open, someone can just casually open it up like they were the owner putting in a code normally, I would run away from buying this one

What a shock, the lock picking youtube professional can pick this lock. Yawn.

All locks can be picked, broken, or cut. Nothing is perfectly safe. What they do provide is a deterrent. Is a thief walking past the pool chairs more likely to stop and try to pick this lock without being caught, or will he go on to snatch the unsecured cell phone a few chairs away?

What's to stop from someone to just taking the whole safe?

This may seam like a strange question . Does anyone know is this safe weather proof … water proof /resistant . Will it survive extreme temps hot or cold? If it was frozen will the lock function open or close?

Or they can just pick it up and open it later, you just happen to put everything in a nice place for the thief to get it...

You are supposed to secure it to something with the cable. Look at the third and fifth photos.

It has a cable to lock it to something, like a chair. I guess they could cut the cable...

This is a theft deterrent - it is not theft proof, nothing is.

Clearly you didn't watch the video. No picking needed. No tools needed. 5 seconds.

One of the videos where the guy rated it 1 star shows the issues the lock has and he purchased 2 of them. Seems this safe has inherent issues from the factory that Master Lock would rather not acknowledge and would instead reduce the price hoping that the 30 day return period will pass before the issues happen. Sure it may have a warranty but who is going to pay $10-15 dollars to send something back that cost less than $20? I believe this same practice is followed by many vendors in todays market.
