Target is clearing out their stock of Bird electric scooters. Nothing fancy but not bad for the price.

Keep in mind this is in store only and YMMV depending on stock in your area.

The range is usually based on lowest speed, flat terrain, and certain weight. So realistically it would get at most 10mi at top speed.
I have this scooter. I weigh 250. Can easily go over 15 miles per charge. And I keep it at the highest speed.
Don't comment unless you have a clue. That gives people false hope

The wheels are small for a reason. They are more efficient and designed for sidewalks. Potholes are only on roadways. Stop driving these on the streets...it's way too dangerous as cars can't see you not to mention these are not street legal. There is a safety reason why laws are written to walk across crosswalks; not jayriding wherever you please.
Pretty sure these are made to be ridden in the bike lanes and on sidewalks. And you should also be able to use them to turn at a stoplight depending on your state

I bought two Phantom R1 Seated Scooter for $270 ea at Costco and that's a better deal.
Hooked up child car seat, both me and my kid weight 240 lbs and we can even ride it up hill.

I usually agree about not commenting unless you have personal experience but for those of us who have a lot of experience with PEV's usually manufacturers tend to overpromise on the possible range of these products.
There are so many factors that can affect the range but generally a person's weight and what speed at which a rider is traveling are 2 big ones.

I'm guessing you at 250 are doing short bursts of top speed to get over 15 miles of range?

A couple of small tweaks and this thing could actually look "cool". Looks like a great grocery/liquor store runner.

Not exactly true, in CA you are not allowed to ride this on sidewalk. This has to be operated on bike lane since this is motorized vehicle, and not exceeding 15mph.

Buy a Kryptonite lock and lock it up just like another bike. Better off buying a U lock because its harder (but not impossible tho) to cut.

Thanks. What about removing batteries or anything else from the bike?
