19° Heel Lift – On steep climbs, calf muscles tire quickly and traction decreases when your foot matches the slope angle. The heel lift bar on Atlas snowshoes eases fatigue when climbing and ensures better grip when the terrain gets steep.
Reactiv-Trac™ Frame – Atlas's most recent patent, the variable forming of our aluminum ReactiV™ frame changes from a cylindrical to an elliptical shape to increase strength where the frame bears the greatest load for a stiffer, more responsive snowshoe frame.
Nytex Decking – Lightweight and flexible Nytex decking provides the durability winter demands, while easily shedding snow to lessen the load.
X-TRAC™ Crampon – An aggressive crampon that can bite into ice and hard packed snow while still being able to scoop underfoot when walking in softer conditions.
Traction Rails – Traction Rails run 2/3 length of snowshoe providing stability and control in all conditions, while still allowing tail to flex for natural gate.

Best prices I have seen on these snowshoes, Real aggressive frame and crampons. Had similar Alpteks from Costco but their bindings failed on me at the most inopportune times. These are real BOA but heal is adjustable separate.
I have the Helium MTN with same bindings and no failures yet. Heal tightening a little pain to get in but I am not flexible enough to reach them without a little struggle, however they have not come loose yet once they are on.
