It was announced as successor to the PlayStation 4 in April 2019, was launched on November 12, 2020, in Australia, Japan, New Zealand, North America, and South Korea, and was released worldwide one week later.

It was launched at the tail end of 2020 and was probably met with extreme hoarding/scalping and all of that nonsense so typical of pretty much all of 2021/2022

It's OK if you want to promote that is available, but don't lie and say that is 399 instead of 500. Digital version cost 399 and the disc cost 499

LMAO. That... is not how it works. I still have digital Xbox 360 games on my Series X. My Xbox live membership has expired many times over the years, and I have had numerous credit cards expire. They don't take your games. Playstation does not do this either.

All you chads are on the rock. Over 70% of all console games sold are digital, not physical. If this was an actual problem, it would be all over the place. Hint: It's not.

Just got Stray in the mail the other day, was thinking of buying it on digital because it was so highly rated, it was $30 on the PlayStation store and $30 for the disk on eBay….so far I'm not impressed, I will give it another hour or two but so glad I can turn around and sell it on eBay and get my money back if I don't like it…..digital games should be much cheaper than physical, but until people stop buying so many they will continue to be the same price as physical
