Requires credit card even though they won't charge it

Tmobile 90 day trial is better
Ryan Reynolds is trying to pull a fast one here! Offering only 30 days as a T-Mobile MVNO, when T-Mobile directly is offering 90 days free

Are you sure? This is what i read under their FAQs... "T-Mobile Network Pass allows you to try T-Mobile's network for up to three months for free, while keeping your existing service with your current carrier."
I do it on old phones. Did it the other day, and they give you a number.

Don't do it. If you use empty credit card, They could blacklist your phone...you failed to cancel before the first month end.
So you would have a paper weight.

If I choose eSim and set it up with my current active working iPhone (VZW), will it work with 2 #s (VZW and Mint) where I can make/receive call/text all on the same phone?
Yes, you can use two providers in one phone. I had T-Mobile on eSIM and physical SIM from VZ and both were worked fine.

Free is good. If you think you might keep the service for a bit afterwards, note Mint sells service in 3 months minimum bundles. I think the minimum to continue after the free month is $45, which gets 3 months of 4GB service ($15/month).

The minimum bundle is $75 for 3 months of 4GB per month service. The $45 price for the first 3 months is a different new-customer-only offer, I got it after doing the 7 day "free" trial by buying a SIM at Target for $2.

To activate eSIM on iPhone:
1. Scan QR code from the provider and install the plan.
2. Customer support team can map the plan with eSIM IMEI and new plan will be installed on your iPhone.

I followed 1st option and line was activated within few minutes.

Edit- In Mint, eSIM activation is based on app.

No., Minimum is $75 for 3 months. Or $120 for 6 months or $180 a year. I've been Mint customer for about 5 years and it's been pretty decent. I would also pay pretty much anything to not deal with T-Mob customer service, ever.

Can you port out this number? Looking on reddit seems like they block the messages with account number and pin so it's a hassle to get them

Can I transfer my number over for the 30-Day Trial? No, but you can transfer your number to Mint when you're ready to purchase a full plan.

You are right, thanks! I've edited my post. The $45 price was offered to me after the 7 day free trial (with $2 SIM bought at Target), but it's a new customer discount which I would assume can't be combined with this free month offer.

The T-Mobile 90 day trial requires you to port in your existing number, not useful if you are trying to get a NEW mobile number to port INTO fi. Mint gives you a new number, either eSim (immediate) or they will ship you a free sim. So depends on what you need - a new phone number/line to port around (Mint is better) or just try a new network for 3 months (t-mobile direct is better).

Are you saying mint allows you to port out the free number? T mobile doesn't, us mobile doesn't, not sure if any other free offers allow you to.

Huge thumbs up for Mint.

Switched from ATT to Mint last November.

I was surprised that I was getting more reliable connection through Mint.. I used to lose connection from home often with ATT.. I have not lost single connection from home since November (using the same phone)

If you only have 1 phone, ATT will rip you off.. I used to pay $60/month. Now I'm paying $20/month with more data..
