I would have them price match it and then use your target card to get an extra 5% off and make it even slicker! This game is still selling for $45 in second hand markets.

What I'm wondering is when they release games as Nintendo Selects at a discounted price....the Switch has been around for so long, but the price for physical copies holds its value in a way that other games dont....the return of Select pricing will hopefully let me pickup some of these...

I have 4 kids, and 4 switches, physical copy means anyone can play, regardless of the account, the player, the switch, pop it in and it plays, also, don't HAVE to be online to play. Airplanes and other spotty internet issues make physical games king!

Nintendo games in general seem to hold their value... I am not sure you would see under $30 or even $35 very often for actual Nintendo made games. If you are someone who has a lot of free time for videogames, I guess you could look into renting games like this to marathon & play through quickly, then return it. Probably would be cheaper to do that than buying each game you want to play. Gamefly might still rent out Switch games. Not sure about other companies

True, and as far as I know it only hit $30 twice, once in 2019 and again in 2021, from WalMart & BB. It went for $36 many times in 2022. It could be many more months you'll have to wait to try save that extra 8 bucks.
