Great game at $30, but I probably paid $30 for this 5-6 years ago. Nintendo just doesn't drop prices it's insane.

Good for a 7 year old or is that too young? For context he can play Kirby

All Mario games have nice way to teach and lead to better skills. Probably some frustrating parts, but good way to learn patience and perseverance. And after finishing there is even more you can do if you want to finish collecting everything. There's plenty of YouTube if you really get stuck.
And yes it is crazy that Nintendo can still get $30 for 8 year old game.

I'd say great for a 7 year old. It's easy and fun. Will he collect every single star, probably not but it's fun.

At least 6 years ago, $30 would now be almost $40 based on inflation calculator so it's in a way a bit cheaper lol.

$30 Is pretty much the absolute lowest Nintendo will allow their popular first party games to be sold for.
