If it's really the "previous generation" WD Blue 3D and not the newer WD Blue SA510, it may be a decent deal. The old version supposedly had DRAM and TLC NAND. The newer version does not seem to have DRAM and I haven't seen confirmation as to what type of NAND. It also seems to have a much higher failure rate.

It seems like we been seeing this weekly, I would wait till this becomes double digits before even thinking about buying this or just buy the other brands of SSD.
