I got one from the last deal. Didn't realize how convenient these are to have until I had one. Also made me realize I have way too many "C" batteries which I rarely use when I had to start putting them in to the "D" slots.
Another positive is, it kept my kids busy for a bit searching the house to find our batteries and fill it up
These are legit. Quality feel in the latches and accuracy of the mold, also bought this on the last $9.99 deal.
I bought this back when it was $20 and I still feel it was worth it at this price. For whatever reason, having a battery organizer actually forces me to put batteries away rather than having them collecting in the junk drawer. Worth it.

One of my latches barely catches. I'm sending it back to Amazon today. More hassle than it's worth. Takes 10 minutes to put the stupid batteries in it, and takes more room than just stacking the Costco sized trays of batteries on top of each other in the cabinet.
Does using one of these shorten the life span of the battery by removing them out of the origibal packaging? I wasn't sure so I never got any. Thanks for the response.

I also got this last time and should have bought it years ago. Instead of having a box of random batteries I finally have some organization.
Side note: do the cell batteries go inside the compartment with the lid inside the case? I didn't know where else they would go. Seems weird just tossing them all in there loosely though.

If you put them together in one place you'd save $10 😀
If you're into 3D printing there is a great 'crate' battery holder that's pretty slick, you can print as many as you need and they fit nicely in your drawer, very modular.

nope, this won't change the lifespan of your batteries.
