The primary difference is Japanese/Kewpie mayo only uses egg yolks, whereas American mayo uses whole eggs. This gives Kewpie a yellower color, smoother texture, and richer mouthfeel. I greatly prefer it as topping or base for sauces. American mayo has a tang that works better for things like potato or egg salad IMO. For sandwiches, there's less of a noticeable difference. It depends on the ingredients and what kind of mood I'm in.
Runny? It's definitely not runny. I squeeze it into my sandwich and it stays in same circular circular tube shape as when it came out of the tip.

I will say I compared the taste to my Kraft mayo and the taste didn't seem that much different. Maybe a bit more tangy, but nothing special
I got this last time it was posted. I feel I should say that while all the pictures show a bag, there's a squeeze type bottle with a lid inside that bag.

Very tempting. My grocery store sells for $6.50... I wonder what expiration date is. Must be soon. We go through a bottle in like 4 or 5 months.

Everyone is going to use what they like for different applications, myself, I use this when I make different Asian noodle dishes. I prefer it over regular best foods or Kraft mayonnaise for this application. I've tried it on sandwiches and in egg salad, but couldn't notice much difference since the other ingredients in those dishes overwhelmed the flavor.

Hope this helps.

I bought this on 12/27 (similar warehouse deal) and it's exp was 04/02/23. So presumably after that, maybe by a month or more

How much is this at Costco usually? I feel like it's roughly the same price. Also, it's noticeably superior to bland mainstream mayos. Makes much better tuna salad.

How does this disperse the Mayo, use spoon, squeeze it out? A bottle would be easier
