TMo executive board meeting:
"So, there's this Mint Mobile company that's using our network but charging a lot less. What should we do?"
"I dunno, copy their intro promo?"
"I dunno, buy them out with our $$$?"
"How about both?"
"Nice job, Johnson. Time to hit the bar, everybody."

No CC required. I think no address required either...it's very easy sign-up!
New user is new IMEI (device not used on the T-Mobile network).

No eSIM? Try a hotspot instead.

If you don't have an unlocked eSIM compatible phone, you can still try out our network with a free hotspot device. With the T-Mobile Hotspot, you can test the T-Mobile network for free for up to 30 days or 30GB of LTE data, whichever comes first.
So even if you don't have an esim you can get a free hotspot and then connect via wifi. Neat promo

Here we go T-Mobile trial… just make sure that you cancel it and call again to make sure it is canceled because your store will do anything to keep your line open
You mean it doesn't just end automatically when your 3 months are up? I'm about 2 months into a trial and I don't intend to switch.

Installed today. Works. But in Chicago area I have terrible speeds. Dont like it. But it is good idea to test service.
And Verizon has similar Test - but only for 30 days

Was considering this trial to use on my cruise, to complement my VZW service. Doesn't seem any of the US cell carriers have service out in the Pacific along Baja. Was hoping so, but looks like if I want internet, I'd have to pay for their crazy prices.

Nope...the number can be only used if you move to T-Mobile Prepaid / Postpaid...and you can port out after that

What qualifies you as a new user? New CC, address?
Nothing much. as long as you have eSIM on your phone and you have not used T-Mobile service in last few months. you get Unlimited Talk, Text, Data for 3 months.

You can still keep your current number and have an extra number for 3 months from T-Mobile for all unlimited and free. ApplauseApplause

Any recommendations on an Android phone for cheap I can get for this? Like, under $100.
Better deal...activate a new line on connect 10$ a month, buy a 150$ credit...you will also get a free device (https://prepaid.t-mobile.com/prepaid-deals-hub) ....and you can use the credit for continuing your service .
