How about the Pixel 7 Pro?
Neither of these are shown on the accepted models list.
Thanks

Here are the steps that I took to get the free trial:
1. Have a valid physical SIM in the Pixel 6a. It probably should be working. Mine was a Mint SIM, and I took care to activate 5G service (Google it, I had it turned off the first try, and got "scan the UPC code" screen/error page in the app).
initial problems:
a. I did not have 5G service activated on the Mint SIM -- this could have been an issue.
b. I tried the spare Pixel 6a phone, and the app stated: "Your phone isn't connected to a carrier - sorry, your phone needs an existing wireless provider to participate in Network Pass". I then put in an old Visible SIM that had expired, and I got the same message. Whether this is because the Visible SIM was not working, or I had turned 5G off on this phone I don't know -- I could not turn 5G on since the Visible SIM was not working. I have not done further testing as my first, "active" phone ended up working for the free trial.
2. uninstall T-Mobile app, then reinstall the app. Agree to all the data collection and other crap; I disagreed the first time and don't know if that had an effect on not being able to get the free trial.
3. IMPORTANT: When you get to the screen saying something like "check my phone has an eSIM" or something like that -- don't have the app check for an eSIM. Press the option that you will set up your eSIM, or " I already know that I have an eSIM" -- something like that. This seems to be a key option to get this to work.
4. After I did step 3, using a Pixel 6a with an active Mint SIM with 5G enabled, I seemed to get the free T-Mobile trial.

My phone is paid off/unlocked and showing no SIM restirctions under carrier lock.
After a few tries (deleting app, redownloading, restarting device) no luck. It eventually won't let you try again and suggests calling them. Which I did, and was a waste of time. So looks like a no go unless anyone has a work around.
Any suggestions?
EDIT: got it to work finally. My AT&T connection was too weak and it was timing out I think. Grabbed some WiFi and it went through.
I see the list of compatible devices doesn't include the latest generation phones but there are comments here that they made this work with older phones not on this list. Does it mean the list is not exhaustive and as long as one has a unlocked e sim capable 5g phone this should work ? Thank you.
