Blink with sync module 2 allows you to store videos on a USB drive then retrieve via the internet without a subscription. Does it allow something similar?

does it support PoE? can't find the info anywhere, just that requires a power adapter
I've used a poe splitter that will give you an ethernet connector and power. Works great.

Wyze is charging you to see video of detected motion. fark wyze.
I have multiple Wyze cams and use the internal storage. I can pull it up anytime and don't pay any fees. If you use the online storage from Wyze then yes you have to pay a fee. You should clarify this next time.

Or you can insert your own micro sd card for local viewing and this you won't get robbed with subscription.

That was not my experience with Sync module 2. It didn't record anything when motion was detected unless I subscribed, which made all of blink useless to me.

I have 11 Eufy cameras, and ready to try something else. In for 1.

This or Wyze?
Not this cam. Wait for the Tapo C320WS with starlight sensor to go on sale. I have many Wyze V3 and, after trying the C320WS, am sorry I do. I was wowed a year ago by the Wyze starlight night vision, but since then several manufacturers offer it. The Tapo's is just as good as the Wyze. The Tapo is much larger. That can be good if you want its presence known but can also inhibit mounting in tight locations. However, it's WiFi range is far superior. Given the C320WS' range, built-in light (option to turn on when motion is detected), mounting bracket and ethernet option, it's the way to go. Oh yeah-- and is a no-brainer if you want to use RTSP. The newly released Wyze cams do not support it and probably never will.

Can you provide a link to the POE splitter you use? Thanks.

What's the difference between TPLink Tapo and TPLink Kasa? Will Tapo work with the Kasa app? I current have Kasa products at my house.

Try this. Wyze is not as good as it used to be.
Their Cameras make sense only if we have subscriptions. I am slowly getting away from wyze.

every wifi camera I tried to put in the garage interferes with remote opener, anyone found a solution to that? Or is PoE the only way to go?

This isnt really a deal. Tapo C320WS with starlight sensor is the way to go. If that hits $29, I'll buy 4 more. These cameras are 100x better than my google nest cams I am currently replacing.
Yeah purchased for $35 a couple of weeks back so decent deal but not 1/2 off.
