Convincing my wife to get this over the Lululemon would truly make me a SD'er.
That's an endeavor that few will come back from victorious. I wish you luck.
So I looked at waist/fanny packs last year along with running belts. 1L seems to be a good size for usability. I will buy one and try one out since I previously had a 2L walmart (Ozark) one. My partner has the Patagonia one and that's pretty nice, but on the r/onepack reddit threads where they talk about waist packs, it wasn't highly recommended. However, they're doing it for extreme hiking and travel so every .1oz matters when you trek for days. Not a 3-hour flat trail like I would do.

If you want to run, I suggest the FlipBelt as I have tried another brand (forgot the name) and it sucked.

It looks like the reason this is on sale is that there's a Columbia Lightweight Packable II Hip Pack. It mainly looks like the stitching is different on the front and the zipper in the back is bigger for uses other than keys.

Yeah, you'll totally not understand the plot if you skip over part 1.

Yes! That's exactly what I've been looking for to pack around some shotgun shells and misc. ammo.
