All personal preference. To me, this stuff is fantastic. I exclusively drink this. I love grape and orange the best. I don't notice ANY aftertaste

This stuff was disgusting to me. Terrible bitter styrofoam aftertaste. Make sure you know what you're getting into before committing to a case.

The fake syrupy sweetness is horrid. Absolutely vile.

Was 35% S&S for me, came out to $9.11! And then got a second for 15% @12~..

I just got this same pack last week @14 which is already a great deal, they $6+ for 6pack at the store. Have been drinking them for years as no carb beverage, obviously they are not syrupy corn cola, but still taste great and no aspartame/sucralose

Extract from a plant called stevia is used for the sweetener. If you're expecting the taste of cane sugar for sweetness, you're going to be surprised and disgusted.
However if you're just wanting it to be sweet, then stevia does work well. But it's just a totally different taste most of us are not used to. Cane sugar? We grew up with that. So anything else feels "artificial" but in reality, stevia is likely a lot better for you.

These drinks must have really skyrocketed in price these last few years. I remember they had a really aggressive coupon marketing launch their first few years after going mainstream...like $1 or $2 a 12-pk (or maybe they changed sizes/qty) and that was at places like Whole Foods. So the shelf price couldn't have been near as high as it is now....$10 at my supermarket!

From what I recall...some flavors were definitely better than others...so a rainbow pack is kind of a cool idea to find out what you like.

These were never $2 for a 12-pack. Pretty sure it was like $5 for a 6-pack at best.

They pushed it pretty hard. There were high value coupons everywhere plus I think rebates on urlhasbeenblocked plus Whole Foods store coupons...and you could combine them all. They might not of had actual 12-pks back then....but 6pk x 2 is all the same.

From a post on SD from back in those days:
"Zevia at whole foods is now 2 sixpack for $6 and by stacking their $1.00 off coupon plus the $2.00 off coupon [=FREE] I bought 10 sixpacks and no problems, only pay sales tax!"

I might have misremembered and compared the shelf price of 6-pks back then to 12-pks now when thinking about skyrocketing shelf price, though. Cool for them that their aggressive marketing campaign seemingly worked out for them in the long run. Although it's pretty rare for me to see someone in the supermarket buy these.
