I have the backpack blower and it is great since the weight of the battery and the blower is on your shoulders and waist. It is excellent when I will use it until the battery is fully exhausted since putting it on and taking it off takes a moment. I prefer handheld units for quick jobs.
I also have the 765 and it is a beast with more blowing power than the backpack blower.
I have the backpack battery link which holds the battery with a cord to the 765. This takes most of the weight and the cord is long enough to use in either hand.
I have used the backpack blower AND the 765 simultaneously for insane blowing power. I have a lot of leaves and using both blows a LOT OF LEAVES. When I do this the 765 is heavy since it has the battery onboard.

Is the link a redirect? I don't go to links that are obscured since they may direct me to dangerous sites.
a.co is a legit link from Amazon. I'm sure Slickdeals is adding some sort of tracking on top of the link from Amazon.

I tried the 765 and the battery barely lasted 30 minutes or so on medium speed level. I did not use trubo or high speed. I had to return it and cannot justify $330 price with that efficiency.
I have about 12,000sf to mow so not a huge yard but I'm able to trim all the areas the riding mower can't get to plus along the house and fence. I still have enough battery left to blow all the grass clippings off the driveway and sidewalk (admittedly I don't have a huge driveway). All that with one 2.5 AH battery. The 5 is heavier and the trimmer is clumsy enough without adding more weight.
Just my 2 cents. YMMV.
