Why is everyone replying to a "Citi Costco Card Question or Error" and then immediately said it worked and trying to give advice, but described using another Citi Card THAT IS NOT THE COSTCO CITI CARD! Please stop!

Apparently, this promotion & code "CITICARD10" doesn't seem to work when following OP direction, after linking and selecting a "Costco Citi Card" as a payment and still gives the error "The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase."

It worked on mine. Had me log in to Citi account and linked my Costco Citi Anywhere.

Make sure you choose the Citi card as the 'payment' for the purchase. My payment defaulted to a different card and it didn't work. When I changed the payment to the Citi card, it then worked. But for me, it didn't even charge my Citi card anything because I had enough Amazon GC balance to pay for it. Still had to have the Citi card as the listed payment method though (it would have picked up any leftover amount due after my Amazon GC balance).

It worked for me on my Citi Custom Cash card, and it worked for my SO on his Citi Double Cash card. I wonder if I can also add my Costco card and get an another $10 off on a different purchase?

Update: It didn't work for my Citi Costco card.

Hmm maybe you can try to double dip using the two separate cards, but I'm thinking there might be a one time code use per account? Idk gotta try it. I added both cards but haven't tried checking out with the code yet

Thanks! I use a Citi Virtual MC card that has been added as default payment option.

Purchased a 8 port tplink switch I need that was sold and shipped by Amz. Essentially half price with the code.

I meant to order it last night but glad I forgot :-)

Didn't work for my Costco Citi Visa

I added my Costco Visa using the link, added a $12 item shipped and sold by Amazon to my cart, selected my Citi Costco Visa at checkout,but when I added the CITICARD10 promo code, I got a message "The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase."
