This service is very oversold in many markets. I am on it currently, and it went completely to pot after the $25 promo in December. If I had any other option, I would jump at it, this service is so unreliable I have to use my phone much of the time. If you are lucky, this could be a great budget option, but most are going to be in internet hell! Rant over...😄

FWIW, I switched to this service in December to take advantage of the $25/mo offer. I've been very impressed by the speed and reliability. Speed Test results are typically around 600 down and about 300 up, but it goes without saying that your results will most definitely vary by location/market, time of day, router placement, etc. I'm fairly sure you have a trial period (and there's no contract anyway), so it's a low or no risk option to try it out.

I have been a TMHI customer for a year and a half, and the last 3 months have been miserable. I am located in Central Florida. For more input from other users you can check out the TMHI subreddit, many are having the same issues I am. https://www.reddit.com/r/tmobileisp/#sort=new

I have to use wifi calling as the tmobile is very unstable in my area. Your call can be disconnected as the signal randomly moves from a 5G to a SOS signal. It will be a total disaster for me to use Tmobile Internet!

Different promotion period and different T-Mobile phone plan. Right now it is $30 for the top tier (max or go5G plus) T-Mobile cell plan customers and $40 for the rest of the current T-Mobile cell plan customers with auto pay.

You are welcome. This service is prioritized lower than phone services, so if your phone gets slow this will be slower still. At peak load times TMHI becomes useless in my area. I think they need to at least have a minimum service speed, especially if they are calling this a "Home Internet" option. I would pay $100 a month for cable internet, but they never ran cable on my street.😕
Sounds to me like it's worth taking a look at starlink and see if it covers your area

Am I the only one tired of endless "offers" , on you name its, that require solving a 10th dimensions quadratic equations to figure out the real NET PRICE.!!!

Offer a fair price that reflects the value to all consumers in the market you are selling in.

Then fire all of your fussy logic marketing department.

Speeds have been fine for me. A couple of times with issues but they got resolved quickly, on par with wired service.

I don't get a usable TMobile signal in my house, or most of my property. Won't lock on. I put a Waveform antenna up where a phone tested 4Mbps. Antenna gets me 50-60, stable. Rural area, far from the tower, band 71, tower max is 130Mbps next to it. So, starting with almost nothing, it can work, with some $ and work (no land based options and this is the fastest internet I've had).

Calyx internet is on TMobile. They have been around for years, using an old Sprint agreement (legit unlike other resellers). Not as cheap. You must use their device, or modify your own to match. And it's a hotspot so it's officially portable.

Thank you! Even T-mobile support could not figure it out. Not surprised.

If so, that's definitely someone with too much time on their hands. Gives SlickDealers a bad name.

On a serious note, how reliable is T-mobile internet compared to AT&T fiber internet. Currently, att is about $65 for 500 mbps.
This is 5G cellular data vs dedicated fiber. I think fiber is more reliable (eg less suseptible to weather disturbances) but YMMV.
