I got this from the last deal..

I second that larger music books fall off the stand, but that doesn't really bother me since I don't have many thick ones.

My biggest annoyance with it is that whenever the volume is remotely low or even on medium setting.. I can hear the actual pressing/tapping/clicking movement of the keys in addition to the music it plays. When kids play, they seem to naturally press harder on the keys. Idk if that is how it is on all digital pianos or if it's because the keys are so light. It's probably only an issue if competing sounds like that bother you.

Third party shipping company sucked.. waited three weeks until adorama emailed and said shipping company couldn't get into contact with us— we immediately called shipping company and scheduled. Couple days later we got a letter from them in the mail trying to charge us 'storage fees' for holding a large item too long. They wanted a couple hundred dollars. We don't know who messed up our contact info since Adorama could email us— but we refused to pay the storage fee and they didn't pursue it. Maybe it was a money grab..

Overall piano is good enough for our first piano with kids, since they'll be rough on it anyway and they like a lot of the features. If it was just me as an adult, I would get a different one. The key noises while playing are a deal breaker for me.

Be aware of the music stand on this. It folds back and has a tiny lip so any large music books will not fit or cause it to fall down.

This piano is not portable, right? Meaning I can't detach it from its stand and take it elsewhere to perform?

Definitely not "portable", but there's tons of portables out there.

Technically NO, but it can be detached partially from the stand. You wouldn't carry it around though, because it's heavy and bulky,

The material is basically Ikea furniture, so it's not going to take a tumble.

the common pianist trick to this is using a piece of cardboard, or acrylic. Big Grin

I did have issue with the shipping company holding my product until I called them. But they did deliver on the agreed day. Its a mess having to call if you assume that everything should be taken cared of during purchase.
