100% not airsoft. There's no problem with not having heard of Redfield, but they're a wholly legitimate sporting optics company with a decades long reputation that surpasses the age of most of the people on this forum. I surmise that the people that haven't heard of Redfield wouldn't know companies like Weaver optics, and instead may think that it's merely the name of a rail type. Or that Bausch and Lomb had a well regarded sporting optics division that was later bought by Bushnell, and immediately became the upper tier of Bushnell's offerings. Or that Swarovski doesn't just make your grandmother's crystal trinkets, but rather also produces some of the finest optical glass that the planet has to offer. There's a huge world out there for you in the shooting sports gentlemen, you need merely avail yourself of the information.

Never heard of this company. If you need a budget optic + mag, get a holosun or vortex or primary arms. They'll all work better than this.
If you've never heard of Redfield, I wouldn't be giving advice

Absolutely no offense, but if you haven't heard of Redfield, then you haven't been around shooting sports for very long. They don't have a historically large presence in the AR15 adjacent market, but they're well established in the sporting optic space.

They've been around for quite some time. A very good quality optics manufacturer. They are the Tudor to Leupold's Rolex

I don't have the time to fully dissect this comment (other have hit most of it), but did you really just put "Holosun" and "budget" in the same sentence?

I was gonna comment on that, but I figured since he named Vortex and Primary Arms that 2 out of 3 wasn't bad.

It's this good for big bore hunting rifles?
