Dashboard is the worst place to charge. Heat from outside+ heat from wireless charging is bad for battery life.

Yup and it'll stop charging when it's too hot. At least for iPhones…..

Got this for white elephant gift. Works ok, charge is slow. it has slots to position your phone at an angle (gps) but it doesn't charge in that position. Sticky bottom side holds it in place but as others have said I am concern about summer sun.

Bad idea all around.

Heat is terrible for your battery.
Wireless charging creates more heat than wired. Your car is hotter than your home. If you use navigation it heats up your device further.
Avoid wireless charging in your car, and if you dont need to charge your phone while driving, dont.

Also in an accident this+a big phone will be half a pound of material coming at your face.

Bought one a while ago when it was on sale. Fits well in my Yukon catch all/console. Wouldn't put on dash but works well for my long travels.
