I think you are incorrect. The hyperlink even suggests the $160 price is for the non-heatsink version. Clicking on the link brings me back to this post.

I put this in my PS5, and iiirc I got 6300 speed from the install.
You could, just make sure there is enough clearance for the heatsink when you close up the laptop. Though you could buy the no heatsink version to save some money.
You cannot put in a laptop that does not support this kind of drive.
