I read dark arts arena is easiest/fastest way to level up.
It looks like deluxe version is cross gen and regular version is not. So if you buy regular version for series X|S it will not work on the older Xbox one. Probably doesn't matter to most but seems a hidden factoid.

At this point not really. The allure of Deluxe was really being able to play 3 days before the mainstream release. The other is the exclusive access to the Dark Arts arena. All the other stuff is just cosmetic. It's a loot heavy game, so you won't miss out on those things.

Thanks. We have a Series X upstairs and an old regular Xbox One downstairs that the kids rotate between (depending on if we're using the living room TV at the time) so that's actually a useful difference for us.

Xbox One version will release in April.

I wonder if it will be like Control and not sync saves between gen. That would be a big con.
