I think there's only been two or three times it went down to $250. I ended up getting it last time it went on discount, and I honestly love them. I haven't taken advantage of the mixes, but audio from pc and phone is great, the Bluetooth range is great, the hotswapping-batteries is fantastic, the 'ANC mic pressing on ear' issue occasionally annoys me but I just readjust the headset. I've heard it's a simple fix if u get the wicked ear cushions, but it's rare for my smaller head so nbd for me.
If you want a cheaper version of this, I think the arctic 9 or 9p have similar benefits and have deal threads, but I can't remember the right one off the top of my head.

I have the Arctis 9x but get some wireless connection issues. Hoping this does better!

Just got this and came from steel series arctis 7 (2017) model. I like them but find the leather cups are making my ears hot. Gonna give them another week or so to see if I truly love them
