looking for a device that also supports jump starting car battery and air tire pressure. (saw similar item in costco but can't find it at the moment)

I don't know if any of these type of devices (at this price point) will give you a jump start because of how much power output it requires but it can certainly trickle charge your battery.

I wouldn't buy this even if it was 100. No name brand= no customer support or warranty. The thing that usually breaks first is the inverter that handles the input/output. Unless you know it has some really great battery cells inside that can be salvaged. Its not worth the risk

Man seriously thinking of getting this. Can someone comment please if not a good buy?
I agree with most of the comments here. If you want a power station that is truly versatile, I'd say 300wh minimum but more realistically 500wh like others are saying.

The use case I see for this is purely as an emergency power bank that allows you to charge up devices or power them for a short time. Like in the event of a power outage for any reason or duration, having this in your kit would all but ensure that your phones and other items would remain charged for as long as necessary (thanks to the solar panel). Beyond that, you'll not get too much out of this.

I purchased a Ravpower Power Station 252.7Wh a while back that is half the size and also much lighter than my 882wh ecoflow. Carrying the Ecoflow around is like carrying a car battery with handles.

I use it for a lot of little things that would normally take power such as my dremel or soldering iron to places that normally would be an inconvenience like under a car. I've also recharged a 45w low powered laptop with it before without any issues either. There are use case for smaller power stations.

That battery is equivalent to a 7-8 amp power tool battery. Would be great for drilling in a bunch of screws but not so great at powering a plug in device for long.

100Wh is the limit to take on a plane. 150Wh with "prior airline approval". At 155Wh it's a no go, and I'd bet the spec is inflated for marketing.

None of these even the much bigger ones will jump start a car battery.
Buy a NOCO.

Solar panel is 40W which means more like 30W in real world situations. And it would likely take 5-6 hours to charge the power station from 0% to 100%.

If you are wanting to get an all-in-one package to experiment with, I would say give this a try.
It says "40W solar panels" and the folding section has four of these panels -- so does that mean it's a 160w panel? If so, the deal is way better (but I have my doubts).

On the Specs page, it says 40W panel which I am incline to believe.
One panel is 13.4" x 9.9" or slighter larger than a sheet of paper.

Just the solar power station is also available for $89.99.
So, $67 for the solar panel.

This is enough power to keep a couple of LED lights on for several hours while charging a cell phone or two and maybe a travel router. I could see it used to power a campsite light in the evenings. It's light enough to carry. If that's what you need, it's not a bad deal.

I would look at anything above 500wh to be of any use.
As you said, it really depends on what you're using it for. We have a Jackery 300 with a 293Wh battery paired with SolarSaga 100X 100W panels and it suits us fine for camping. We use it to recharge phones, lights, and power tool batteries, and occasionally run electric blankets (they turn off after 30minutes to an hour automatically). If my girlfriend is "working from home" it's enough to recharge a laptop. Even in the middle of winter not much trouble recharging during the day unless it's particularly cloudy.

The key for people is to add up what their storage needs are, being sure their solution is also capable of meeting max power draw needs. Given how quickly the tech has been coming down in price I'd not worry TOO much about future proofing.

Back to this deal, barring a good amount of research I'd avoid it even if it meets your needs on paper. I'd imagine there's some good deals out there with random Chinese branding, but unless you really know what you're doing and have done your research (and are getting a killer deal) you're better off sticking with known brands.

I use a very similar one for when the power goes out and I can run my internet router/modem/ lap top.

I work from home, and the power will go out now and then for a few hours. This is perfect for that.

Besides the opinions of the price, what can this be good for...like what would someone at home benefit from this in case of an emergency such as a city blackout or power goes out because of a storm etc....what can we use this for ?
