wow, actually came back in stock... pretty crazy, these things are almost never on sale.
picked one up last time, man it weighs nothing, haven't had a chance to use it yet with it being "winter" (kinda, not really, it's 55° in western NY today).
side note:
the number of warning symbols they jammed on the brake handle is hilarious... went and compared with my 455 Rancher, there are like half the symbols on the thing that walks away as it idles

They are often on sale !!?? Also been noticing a lot more 6amps with the free option. Dropped from the 8amp which is preferable considering run time on Milwaukee OPEs. 6 are great for the 2100 cells for smaller tools but for longer run time the 8s are where it's at for weight and run time IMO!!

This is super tempting as I have a few small trees in the yard that we are cutting down. I'm pretty sure I can get through them with the super sawzall though.
Can someone who owns the 14 provide some real use experience???
Works real well as long as the chain is nice and sharp (like with any chainsaw really).
About 20" is the thickest tree I'd cut with it personally. Any larger and it's inconvenient to "wrap around" and have the two cuts meet up nicely... Or maybe I just suck at using it 😋

I own a large wooded property and have a lot of tree work to do. I love Milwaukee battery powered tools, but am I right in assuming that a gasoline chainsaw is probably a better tool for ongoing work? What is the runtime on one of these on a six amp hour battery?

Winter is a great time for using your chainsaw. We would go out in February when it was around the freezing mark and cut down trees and chop em up for firewood. Have a cottage a few hours north of Toronto on an island, a skidoo, sleigh and winter make it a lot easier for getting the wood ready for the next years coming. Sounds crazy but was a lot better than doing it in the heat. Cheers

Check out the Diablo blades for doing trees and pruning.
I've cut down quite a few small and medium sized trees, chops to pieces for the firepit, all with sawzall and Diablo blades. Once you chop, you can't stop!
You'll need one of the higher capacity batteries to get the most use out of this saw. It works well when the chain is new and sharp, but it's not as durable as I would like.

I agree the Diablo pruning blades chew a tree up in a hurry.
