These do not last 1-2 summers in direct all day sunlight in the Texas heat, none of them probably do. Mount them in a semi shaded area and they can still get fully charged and will last 4-10+ years. I've brought over 40+ of these brands from deals on Slickdeals over the decade and the direct sunlight in Texas is just too much for them.

You either screw them to a wall or fence or use double-sided gorilla tape like i do. I have them on the side of my house like that for a few months. They aren't this brand but virtually the same.

Just installed a bunch of these. Be aware, the detection zone is more like 20+ feet and very wide. I had to move it back from the sidewalk nearly 30 feet or it would keep activating with every car that drove by.

I also opened it open hoping there would be a potentiator I could use to adjust the sensitivity, but there was none.
