That said they are the 3rd or 4th biggest bank the USA & in the top 20 in the world. They are not going out of biz soon.

Who cares how bad Wells Fargo is as a bank?
Even if WF screwed you in the past, this deal allow YOU the opportunity to TAKE money FROM THEM.
Of course, you have to play by the rules of their game, keep an eye on them, take the money, and close the account.
Rinse and repeat the next time?
I received a $1,500 bonus from them last year by opening a business checking account - another $300 for a credit card. That account was closed soon after the bonus cleared. This is a new bonus - so I will rinse & repeat (it's a separate type of account so I'm qualified to jump on this one too). I'll take it a step further and open one for the spouse and kids...and turn this into a 4 x $235 bonus.
If you can't watch this bank like a hawk, or play within the guidelines and rules, then you should probably close this thread and wait for the next deal to be on the FrontPage
