May as well pay $999 for the 7900 XTX Hellhound. Much better performance per $. But since Hellbound is Power color's middle tier, many mentioned cool whine.

Getting the XTX at retail is no easy task yet… most are overpriced

If people keep letting the Uncle And Niece CEOs of Nvidia and AMD rip them off and price fix, they will keep doing it!

Fair warning this is the 2x 8 pin model that doesn't have the OC headroom of the 3x 8 pin versions. However it does have a better cooler than the reference design.

Yeah the game itself may be enjoyable but artwork aside, gfx engine wise it is not impressive, especially by PC standards. It should be flying on any decent GPU. Hope they ll manage to optimize it better.

It's good to point that out but I was able to oc my 7900xt Red Devil and increase my 3d mark scores by 20% and that only had 2x8 pin. Just sayin. I also think it was a silicon lottery type of thing as well tbh.

This GPU was DOA from day one BEACUE of these stupid price... AMD can take it and SHOVE it....!!!! Absolutely ZERO value at anything above $700 for this class GPU....

Thats been me for 3 years now. 5700 has gotten some good use for a quarter of the price and still plays everything in 1440p. Id really like to see the list of idiots buying these things at these prices. lol

This seems cool but the name hellhound is kinda scary. I can't support demonic graphics cards. Especially when I could buy a ps5 and a series S for the same price LOL

I think $700 within a year, during a good sale, is possible. It's a weird situation right now because the raw materials, s&h, packaging etc don't seem too bad (at least for AMD) and TSMC has excess capacity this year.

On the other hand, AMD and every hardware company has a huge R&D overhead that's getting split and amortized over a relatively small number of sales due to the cratering of the PC/desktop market right now. We need more people to join us Wink
