Great mouse. The "for Business" version uses the new Logi Bolt receiver instead of the Unifying receiver. The two aren't compatible as far as I know.

I actually prefer the stacked buttons on the 2S (easy to identify by size) and find it's often a stretch to reach one of the front-back layout buttons on other mice. Moving my thumb up and down in that location feels far more natural and easy than trying to move it back and forth, but YMMV.

My main reason for getting a 3 would be finally eliminating my last micro-USB ported device

Have you tried buying magnetic charging cables? I'm thinking about buying a micro USB adatper and leaving it in my mouse and the USB C in my Mx keyboard. That way I can use ONE cable to charge either products.

Purely depends. I have 2S and really like the convenience so just bought another one. Rechargable, bluetooth, connect with 3 computers, confortable, what else I can say? $50-$60 is fine for a lot of people.

ehhh..I got the master 2 from SD for less, I think it was $45-50. Not a huge diff but I was eyeing a microsoft BT mouse that was down to $24, now $32. Quality mice are pricey.
