Great mouse. The "for Business" version uses the new Logi Bolt receiver instead of the Unifying receiver. The two aren't compatible as far as I know.

You mean $60 for a well-made, rechargeable, wireless tool offering precise control and customization, which many people use for many hours every single day? Sounds like a bargain to me!

I almost pulled the trigger but found out there is a newer version of this mouse called the 3s.

Same receiver works with bolt-compatible keyboards- which certainly do send sensitive info
That makes sense. I prefer using my own wired mechanical keyboard so this feature would not impact me. Good to know.

The Bolt supposedly uses a more "secure" connection, which might be important for some business users. But for me, it's a deal breaker to have to have a separate dongle for my mouse and my keyboard. There used to be a non-Bolt version of the MX3, but it seems like it's in low stock at most outlets that I've see and almost never on sale.
I don't think it is because of security, but rather less interference with other people's mice. There would be a lot of wireless mice in office.

It's for both security and stability of connection. They never fully fixed and probably cannot fully fix the MouseJack issues with the Unifying receiver. https://www.theverge.com/2019/7/1...ack-hijack If you are still on Unifying mice, you may want to use Bluetooth mode instead, if that's available. Bluetooth 4.0 and higher should be secure enough for now. If not, at least update your Unifying receiver's firmware so it's less vulnerable. https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us...ver-Update

How's the weight? I'm used to light sub- 70g gaming mice but this looks great for productivity

Is it better to wait on a deal on the Master 3S or should I buy this one?

I hate them for not supplying a way to switch existing device to bolt connector.

Brick, horrible outdated shell. Don't even think about this crap if you've used a light mouse.

The 3S has 90% quieter mouse clicks and 8000dps vs 4000dps which probably only matters in this case if your mouse surface is glass.
