Can you believe one of those "little" bas!ards chewed multiple holes through a relatively brand new (and expensive) Toter garbage can? I tried to catch him with some smaller Tomcat traps I had, but 2 were set off with no rat. These are larger - just be careful when using them as they can end up killing things you don't want to kill, such as chipmunks and squirrels.

They are set to catch rodents in the chicken areas and we caught 1. The much more expensive Ratinator (around $70 at local TSC) caught 17 in a single night (and multiples for several catches in a row). They went from alive to dead in <3 minutes with the Ratinator treatment.
Not only do we now have more eggs (some days 100% more) again but also use less feed... That trap paid pretty much for itself!
