Does a mesh WiFi setup have issues with these? My current Neato will not connect after switching over to a whole house mesh system.
Might be worth trying an older security certification (like WPA2) to see if it connects. When I upgraded our WiFi a couple months ago everything connected except for one device, and finally got it to work after I turned on the guest network and used an older security certification.

Most smart appliances need to be connected to the 2.4GHz band only, so I would check that first with your Neato. My Roomba (different model) connects to my Deco mesh just fine.

I'd go with the Wyze vacuum in this price range. $150 at Walmart. LiDAR mapping is great on the unit.

I have an ironot without lidar and a roborock with lidar. I will never purchase another robot vacuum without lidar. It works too good. Rarely bumps into anything. Much quieter because of it. And cleans a lot faster, not that that's a selling point. only downside is lidar ones are more expensive.

I have this exact model. It's amazing for my house , especially with the shedding dog!

I literally this morning just replaced the parts ($50 original parts) and the thing runs like new and is built like a tank. It's also good to know you can always get the parts for iRobot, other no names or Chinese brands you can't.

I tried other Chinese name ones and they were all hot garbage. Honestly for this price, if they battery is new , it's a steal!!

This is a pretty good deal if it includes a new battery. Anyone know?

I had this one a few years ago and upgraded to the one with self emptying bin. I normally only buy from Costco but with a 2 year warranty for $140 seems like a deal.
Very unlikely a refurb comes with a new battery. That would be a large chunk of the cost if it came with a new one.

You can't pay me to take a refurb vacuum, that's straight nasty. I have a Roborock and the different AI voice in different languages is everything.

I've owned one of these since it first released and it's been fantastic for the main floor house. Rarely gets stuck and cleans well. I'm buying another one for the basement.

Can you explain what LiDAR mapping does for me?

It comes out of the box and looks brand new. I don't think you know what a factory refurb is.
