14oz is very common, even "standard", in this insulated mug category: https://www.amazon.com/14-oz-coff...offee+mugs

All "normal" mugs have handles, some people like that. If you want to put it in a cupholder, you are probably looking for a travel mug. These will also tend to have the more complex screw-on lids that make them spill-proof.

Hope this helps!

If you WFH you use it as it is. If you work at office you don't have a desk? If you do also just leave it there. I guess if you are hoteling then I would just use it as a mug for coffee (make coffee at work), then clean it and take it home at the end of the day.

They are $16 for one at Target, so two for $20 is a good deal. https://www.target.com/p/contigo-...t=85568519

Claims it's "splash proof" and not spill proof.

14 oz is an odd amount of coffee. Usually it's multiples of 4oz (12, 16, 20).

Handle means it's not going to fit in many cup holders.

WM's most comparable mug is $8 in blue and also an odd 15 oz size. No "spill proof" lid. OT cups are awesome on clearance in store and you can often find great deals if you stalk their selection. I saw $2 can coolers the other day.

Guess it's OK for an office mug. Not really a great product or a great price, though.

Yeah where do people use these? You can't fit into car cup holder, so it's not like you can make a cup from home into this and drive to work. It's not spill proof so you can't put in a backpack

Camping! Easy answer... As long as you're not hopping in the golf cart, or have an accommodating cup holder.

Why do one need stainless steel when WFH? You are home, you can make fresh hot coffee. I see stainless steel mugs for traveling to keep coffee warm/hot

I don't make coffee AT work. I make it at home and put in something to keep it warm/hot when I commute into the office. This mug clearly will not do the job?
In some WFH situations you may consider needing a stainless steel mug to keep your fresh coffee hot for a longer period. I sometimes can't enjoy my fresh hot coffee after I make it due to other distractions (i.e. getting kids ready for school, short notice meetings). My freshly made coffee may sit for another 30-60 mins.

If I use a ceramic coffee cup, it will cool down then I'd need to make another fresh hot cup of coffee.

I currently make fresh coffee, put in in my travelers cup, and drink it every morning whether I'm WFH or commuting to work.
