That said, I find it really odd that no one on Slickdeals so far has heard of it or can vouch for it.

There is paypal and they claim decent resellerratings. Price is cheaper than refurb macbook on apples website. Normal price on these at bh/adorama/etc at this point is 2999. So there is some savings.

I can vouch for them. They are a small but reputable store. Only bought items in person and not online from them though. Hope that gives you peace of mind.

Out of curiosity other than the vendor being a bit unknown, isn't this a pretty good deal compared to other M1 Pro sales lately for what you are getting? Or am I missing something?
