Do I have to use a Huge branded hub to get this to work? Or is it compatible with other brands?

I think it's the bulbs that are smart, not the fixture.

They're ZigBee bulbs

This does not have a built in motion sensor so you will need to get one of those also. Just an FYI.

They're ZigBee bulbs
But they're not general ZigBee, they're ZigBee light link, not interoperable

I don't have this fixture but all of my other Hue stuff connects to Home Assistant without a Hue hub.

To save some research time, they are 1,300 lumens each for the par38 bulbs.

$50 for the 2 bulbs isn't a bad deal. I'll probably donate the plastic housing and just switch the bulbs out in my existing light.
