Hmm, no help from the peanut gallery. It seems these types of chairs are always hit or miss. I've owned some from Walmart (Ozark trail) that were under $20 and lasted almost 10 years. Others that I've acquired over the years from sources unknown and were likely more expensive didn't last half that long.

If you're a member of REI they do have a lifetime guarantee against defects. It costs $30 and you get a $30 gift card so it's a wash. But you collect 10% off all full price items, so this would be excluded. I'd guess it is probably middle of the road or slightly better.

I'm on the fence about these as well. For $25 and free in store shipping, or free shipping over $50, it seems like a decent enough deal. They do have some boots on sale/clearance as well. Maybe you could meet the minimum adding those.
