Just to clarify, they do make SATA M.2 drives. Only nvme m.2 drives are much faster.

And with that said... In day to day, real world application the speed difference between sata SSD and nvmr SSD isn't that much.

Just bought a Silicon Power 2TB SATA drive for $88 on Amazon yesterday. They may not have the brand recognition of Crucial but they're an established company in Taiwan with reliable products and a 3-year warranty.

$88 s better than "great deal" of $110 in my book.

I should mention I have a 1TB MX500 from a client that we are looking to spend >$1000 on data recovery because the drive failed. Buyer beware.

My experience with Silicon Power is no support. They have a nice web page that would make you believe they have support, but they won't even acknowledge that the customer exists. You won't get the free cloning software either.

Current pricing would make sense when multiple by at least 2.

Ie, 4TB must fall below 200, and not just $199.. more like $159

lol 512gb was not a lot on 2020, I felt I had too little at 2tb of m.2 /ssd now I have 40tb in my main system and no less then 13tb in all my back ups.
