I bought 2 of these last month. One works flawlessly, the 2nd one's inverter doesn't work, so no 120 volt output. Tenergy confirmed it is defective, but refuses any warranty because they say Buydig isn't an authorized reseller. Buydig says they are authorized, but gave me a $50 credit to keep the defective one. Buydig says they will contact Tenergy for the warranty, but I haven't heard from either. My 2 cents.

I have had this unit since December 2020. No issues.
For a smaller unit like this, I am not sure what is the point of needing an app.

The new ecoflow deal is for the River2 which is also LiFePO4.

This Tenergy unit seems to a be lower rated inverter that only offers 200 watts continuous vs the Ecoflow 300 watts. Battery size on the Tenergy is larger though 300wh vs 256wh on the Ecoflow so the Tenergy will last longer.

Basically if you need back up for things under 200 watts this is a better buy. If you have more higher power usage requirements the Ecoflow is better since it has the x-boost capability in its inverter to boost certain things to 600 watts max. This Tenergy doesn't have that.

So what is a the main drawback compared to the eco flow? Looks like this has 8 hours of charge time and no app? Anything else?

I'm not sure the firmware is upgradable, due to lack of connectivity. But when it works well out of the box, I'm okay with that.

LiFePO4 can be recharged ~3000 cycles, most low end Ecoflows are Li-on, and only do about 600 cycles max. Not sure about app, i also have Bluetti EB3A, and is does require app for rather unique advanced functions (e.g. charge rate), which this unit may not have/need.

Regular UPS can handle that for a long time if you only have the router and modem plugged in.

Does your ISP stay online during blackouts? Spectrum/Charter in my area lasts about 5 minutes after power drops, so despite the fact that my modem/router are on a good, long-lasting battery backup, I still can't stay online during a blackout... I hope you have a different experience in your area!

App is useful to check energy usage and charging status if you're not next to it. Situations such as if the unit is in a network closet or charging outside via solar. If you just charge it via AC then yeah not much use for it.

Highly dependent on the type of outage. We lose power from trees in storms and never lost internet, including extended times when we are on the generator.

Ecoflow manual says 200W per outlet, which is impressive.

I just bought this, 200W total.
