Sorry, these shitty "Glacier Bay" products are posted every week. Every week I simply point out the large amount of 1 star reviews saying how they break in 1 week to a few months. It's trash Chinese bullshit and I'm convinced no actual human on Slickdeals Staff is actually involved with these posts.

I'd pay five times the price if I knew I wouldn't be replacing it within a few months. But people who are flipping houses to gullible buyers don't care.

I think it's because Glacier Bay is generally considered low quality so not a good deal despite the low price. I would rather pay more for Moen to try to ensure that I won't be dealing with leaks and need to replace it in the near future.

Agreed…and Moen from an actual Moen dealer. These big box fixtures are not the same you get from an actual dealer.

I've replaced a few Moen products with this style of Glacier Bay about a year ago and haven't had any issues. The quality is definitely lower than the Moen set it replaced, but I haven't had anything break

While the prices are good, in my experience I would not purchase an "off brand" unless I wasn't concerned about quality beyond a few years. We purchased a home a few years ago, and all of the cool looking, low end faucets have had to be replaced. Also, because our water tends to be harder than normal, I would never purchase the widespread flow bathroom faucets. They get gummed up inside the faucet where it's impossible to get to without taking it apart, resulting in a crazy flow of water. Just my opinion, but our plumber also said it's worth it in the long run to purchase a quality brand if you can afford it.

I've had this for about 6mo and not had any issues. It is a short-term replacement, as the bathroom will be remodeled within ~2-3yrs. In this very specific use case, it has worked well so far.
