simply putting SLC instead of SLC cached on the title can be misleading although I suppose anyone familiar with the market would not expect this to actually be an SLC drive.
While I see this being compared to the Intel 670p currently around this price point, I really don't think they are similar.
the intel 670p has cache the MP33 does not. if you want to compare like for like, I would go with the TeamGroup MP34, which is a far superior drive to the MP33 for $6 more. its faster, has DRAM and has significantly higher TBW.
The bigger issue for me when comparing these drives is the TBW. the 670p is rated at 370TBW which for me is really low. the MP33 is 600 TBW but as mentioned, the far better solution is the MP34 at 1660 TBW.
at this price point, I don't think you can beat the MP34.
Mp34 for only a few $ more is a better deal.
Or if you you're ok with lower endurance the cheaper 670p is good. That'll be faster than this.
Are there multiple mp33 versions of there? If so you may not get an e13t controller. I got a rts5672 on my mp34 which is not any of the versions in reviews linked to on the team group product site
