Don't be ridiculous. I have 3 Eufy cameras at home & looking to expand.
Don't use their cloud-based storage and relax. Why did you even bother post?
The issue at hand is how they lied about being "a leader in privacy" and "your data stays in your device".
And how they continued to lie and punt for so long after they were called out.
They just aren't a trustworthy company.
certainly a low price - much lower than what I paid. Unfortunately, I get so many false detections even on the least sensitive setting that it's pretty much unusable for me. Camera seems to think my stationary patio furniture is a human.

Well that sounds accurate - just another Tech company grabbing information and selling personal information without consideration of individuals (e.g. Google, Apple, Microsoft, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, etc etc etc)
From what I understand, if not configured properly (by the user), user images and facial recognition are sent to the cloud. If you store information locally (NAS or SD), this isn't an issue.
How is their warranty? Had a doorbell camera that stopped working (through no fault of my own, they even acknowledged that the doorbell had issues) and they wouldn't honor it. Hassle-free sounds totally b/s.

I don't trust them a ton either, but FWIW I have a bunch of different models outside and they've worked pretty reliably for a few years now. The 360 degree one is kinda cool but has been buggy at times.

How many 'trustworthy' companies you can name?
