You get $10 extra per $100 gift card purchased. Not $10 off a $100 gift card.

Too bad this comes right after 2X VIP points ended.

I was at my local Lego store the other day, and they had a TON of lego sets for 10% off due to box damage.
Don't know if this is a common after holiday thing at Lego stores or not.
I know 10% is not a lot- but if you are looking at getting sets that never go on sale, and actually plan to open and build them, 10% plus another $10 bonus using giftcard makes for a decent deal.

Saw a coupon for 4x fuel points for buying gift cards.

Don't think so as it mentions: "I also understand that the prepaid cards offered through this site are sold by Blackhawk Network, Inc. The charge on your credit card will appear as GIFTCARDS."

A newb question here - is it really beneficial to buy from Lego.com vs other sites (Target, BN, Amzn, etc)? I see usually the other ones may run sales more so than Lego themselves? Are the loyalty points worth it to order directly from Lego.com website? TIA!

Has anyone tried either separate Kroger accounts or checking out as a guest to get more than the limit of 2?

It is for sets that rarely go on sale, or are exclusives, and when you combine with Gift with Purchase (GWP) options plus VIP points.
The GWP and VIP Points are the main reason to purchase directly.
A main benefit of those VIP points is to redeem for limited edition sets only available from the VIP club.
Those GWP and VIP sets can be sold for a tidy profit to help reduce the cost of your initial purchase.
