Only for the 65" model.

I got a popup for 10% off, that you could possibly apply for further discount.

That's the same price as Best Buy. Amazon has it $3 cheaper.

The G3 is a big step up, If I were looking for a G series, I would wait and just pay full price for a G3 (when they release I believe in a couple months) for the improvements, or wait 6 months for them to possibly go on sale. Or get a G2 then, since they should drop alot in price then

Seemed like a negligible update when I looked into it. What did I miss?

The G3 will have newer screen tech (not to be confused with the C3, which will probably relatively close to the C2)

Quote :
"Foremost is LG's claim it the G3 will offer "70% higher" brightness compared with what LG describes as "traditional" OLED models"
"Specifically, based on previous LG TV's performance, that figure would, as noted initially by FlatpanelsHD, mean the new G3 could offer over 2000 nit max brightness in its vivid picture mode,
though 1500 nits is what's expected in the more accurate picture modes and with more typical HDR content.
How does that stack up with the G2 then? Considering the G2 peaks at around 1000 nits of brightness, it's safe to say that this is a pretty substantial upgrade."
I beleive they call their new tech "Micro Lens Array [techradar.com]" or MLA for short. Only the G3 will have this. Hopefully the C4 will have it, since that seems to be LG's pattern for their oleds.

What would be a good price to pull trigger on G2 77''?

I think the best price I have seen is just under 3k, I would consider one at the BF sale price of a C2 (2499) if they somehow drop to that once the G3 releases. But to be honest, I havent really followed the G2, though with its heatsink, screen longevity may be its biggest benefit (only time will tell)

Video Only was selling those for $2600 Black Friday weekend and in December last year. If you have one local to you go down and ask about the best deal they would be willing to offer.
