Most likely. It's going to support a decent amount of endurance as compared to your standard thumb drive. However, there aren't any published specs about the endurance rating of the drive.

I am not buying anything else from newegg anymore. Had too many problems with them. I'll be waiting for price matching from Amazon or BestBuy.

Been using the 500gb one for a while now and it works great for the Tesla. This is way cheaper than Tesla's 1TB option

I'm also curious about this. I think the tesla only supports usb regular speeds so getting the faster SanDisk won't matter. This drive is on 520mb/s but they make a 1000 & 2000mb/s speed drives also

Does your drive look like the one in this deal? Yours might be a faster one. I don't care about the size. I just want a faster drive then the one that came with my tesla

For a little bit more, I got the Samsung T7. Tried and tested for Tesla Sentry.

I don't even see this model number at Bestbuy.com, am I missing something?

Would it be better and more flexible with a M.2 NVMe PCLe SSD and an enclosure? The cost will be similar at $68 ($15-$18 for enclosure and $50 for 1TB SSD), but the write and read speed of M.2 NVMe drive will be a lot faster.
