I don't have this model, I have I think a 7500 and my wife has the basic 4100. Honestly 99% of people just need the 4100 that's normally on sale for $30.

Sonicare has great customer service from my experience with a 2 year warranty. My last toothbrush started failing after about 20 months and they mailed me a new one. Second one still going strong.

I have a ten year old Diamondclean. One of the original high-end models. It still works but it's getting old.

I'm extremely skeptical of these cyber toothbrush bulls**t products with bluetooth, apps, and DRM chips in the heads. Oh they even have gamery lights in them now?

I'm also skeptical of this listing. It only appeared today, but there are reviews from last year. 3xCamel has no history of the products. Not sure what is going on here.

Okay... I've got more info.

This is a new product line. Looks like it started six months ago.

The case is an empty piece of plastic with no charging capability, unlike all their other brushes in this class, so this is is bad for travelers, unless you want to re-use an existing travel case. https://youtu.be/fbfWcIBGk_w?t=134

I am also skeptical of the finish. It might wear/scratch off over time.

Otherwise seems like an okay deal for home users. Not for travelers.

Not sure about your generalization. I have 4100 and often wish it had a milder setting for vibration

Does anyone have experience with the 9000 series? Does the White+ mode make any difference?

I have a 9500 diamond clean. If you BT to your phone, it will tell you the where to brush. ORAL B divides into 4 top left and right, bottom left and right. Sonicare divides it into 6. Left; front, right;top and bottom. The rather changes a little but the whitening has you focus on the front to extra clean the visible teeth. I have had mine force while and bought from a discount store so no warranty but heavily discounted. I dropped it and it doesn't work right now.

How well do the buttons hold up on this? I have 4100 and the buttons get damaged by water.

You have a lot you are skeptical about. Lol.I don't plan to use the app/connected stuff. But it's pretty high end and has more features than some of the middle tier models at a better price with this deal. Save us the intrigue - like Phillips is trying to 'pull one over on you' by launching a new model 6 months ago. Lol. IN FOR ONE. THANKS sircomference !

Had several diamond cleans over the years. Cannot compare it to other electric toothbrushes but I have had great experiences with their customer service when I have needed a replacement within their warranty period. Probably one of the best customer service experiences as they don't jerk you around and make it easy to get help when you have a problem.
