Bought one to replace my i8+ that keeps getting tangled in cords and backpack straps.

All parts (incl bags in the self-empty tower) interchange.

Got a price adjustment for my purchase on 1/8 when it was $599 (699-100 instant rebate). Had to talk to manager since my Costco has a 30 day price adj policy. He was a able to do so. Smilie

QVC has it for 399 today. Search j7x+. This has an extra bag, side brush, and slightly longer battery life tho.

The latest Roombas work well. They dodge recognized things on the floor, know where rooms are, and navigate just fine.

And if they "switched to lidar", they wouldn't push through bed skirts or covers hanging over the bed frame to clean under the bed, for example. I don't know why so many people keep insisting that it's necessary or would be a 100% positive change if they did switch.

Loved this J8+ until it broke on me (never happened before in previous roombs)! Returned it to Costco for a full refund but unfortunately the price has jumped to $700 now Frown.

Need a replacement, and just waiting for the next sale. Until then I'll use my previous dumber roomba.
