Just know that if you do go for the PS4 version, they do charge for the PS5 digital upgrade bump. However, there is some benefit to getting it for PS5 if you want to maximize its capability over there. It does utilize the controller more effectively with its available features, and you do get to play the game up to 4k mode, and it will be able to make the solid state storage work well enough to perform nicely.
If you want compatibility and don't care about the PS5-specific features, go for the PS4 version. If you want to enjoy the game's full potential with all possible features available, go for the PS5 version.

edit: No longer available, but it was when originally posted.
Why would a blu ray disc break? Do you have kids or pets around? If you put the disc on the case, it should survive a couple of hits from both. Putting it in a secure position where neither could get to it would help.
As for the possibility of a disk breaking, I usually work very hard to keep my games intact as much as possible. Accidents can happen. One never knows.

It starts with a hard T but it's barely noticeable in speech.
This is also one of my favorite experiences on ps5. They give you a horse, but I just ran around on foot because the landscapes were freaking beautiful!
